Odessa Reservoir - A Great Place to Visit

If you plan on fishing, be sure to have your State Fishing license as well as a city permit. The permit fees are $1.50 for an individual single day fishing permit, $7.50 for an individual season permit, or $10.00 for a family season permit (includes your spouse and children under 16). If you are under 16 or over 65 you do not need a fishing permit. To put a boat on the reservoir you'll need a boating permit from the City. The fees are $1.00 for a single day permit for a boat without a motor (kayak or canoe), $5.25 for a season permit for a boat without a motor, $ 2.00 for a single day permit for a boat with a motor, or $10.25 for a season permit for a boat with a motor. To obtain the City Permits, you can stop by City Hall from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. After hours you purchase them at the Odessa Police Department at 310 S 1st Street. The Odessa Police Department does not keep money on site so please come with the exact amount. The money received for permits goes directly back to the upkeep and upgrades of the Reservoir.
